Job Summary The Inventory Management Support B is responsible for receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, and other inventory management activities to support company and program requirements. This role ensures compliance with government and corporate policies, maintains 100% accountability of materials, and upholds safety standards in a manufacturing environm ent. Key Responsibilities R eceive and verify items by counting, sorting, or weighing incoming materials against purchase orders; process receipts into company systems Package, label, and stock materials in bins, racks, or shelves by part number Build and issue kits or individual parts to support program and manufacturing requirements Transport materials from stockroom to production areas Conduct inventory counts (periodic, special, perpetual) and adjust records to maintain accountability Maintain 5S standards in stockroom and storage areas Identify and report safety issues in compliance with OSHA and company standards Cross-train in supply chain processes such as HAZMAT certification, shipment processing, and property accountability inspections Complete data entry accurately for inventory and property records Perform other duties as assign ed Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift, push, pull 25–50 lbs regularly Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, standing, climbing for prolonged periods Ability to operate material handling tools and equipment Willingness to work in manufacturing environments with exposure to mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, an d noise Required Skills A bility to work independently with attention to detail Strong reading and writing skills to understand policies, procedures, and reports Excellent collaboration skills in diverse, multi-disciplinary teams Commitment to organizational success and outstanding work ethic Ability to complete paperwork and data entry accurately Adherence to health and safety standards Proficient written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills E xperience with Costpoint or SAP Ariba for material management Familiarity with ISO or AS quality systems Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing, inventory, quality, engineering te ams Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years inventory control/stockroom experience (receiving, storing, issuing, kittin g) Education: High School
