Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Purchasing Specialist with 2–5 years of experience to support our end‐to‐end purchasing and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process‐driven, and a fast learner who can effectively manage supplier performance, monitor inventory, and ensure the timely flow of materials to support production. Experience in textiles is desired. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities                                                                                                                                       

Supplier Performance & Order Management

  • Monitor and manage supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance; escalate risks and collaborate on corrective actions
  • Track open orders to ensure timely delivery; follow up proactively with international suppliers on delays, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and updated order status in ERP/system dashboards

Procurement & Purchase Order Management

  • Create, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procurement policies
  • Validate confirmations, lead times, and pricing from suppliers globally
  • Expedite orders, and resolve issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery with our suppliers as well as freight forwarders

Inventory Control

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock
  • Support cycle counts, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs and avoid supply interruptions

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Quality teams to maintain material flow
  • Support internal stakeholders by providing timely and accurate supply chain updates
  • Assist in logistics coordination for inbound international and/or domestic shipments as needed

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing, logistics, and inventory processes
  • Prepare reports on OTD, inventory performance, supplier scorecards, and procurement KPIs
  • Support ERP data integrity and workflow improvements

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of supply chain or purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Excellent Excel and data-analysis skills, excited about AI
  • Strong organizational and time‐management abilities
  • Process-driven, analytical, proactive, and a fast learner
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
  • International purchasing and logistic experience
