About the Team
The Purchasing team plays a key role in driving cost efficiency and supporting strategic business initiatives across the organization. The team collaborates closely with controlling, engineering, quality, and business unit stakeholders to identify cost reduction opportunities and continuously improve purchasing processes. Through data driven analysis and cross functional collaboration, the team supports sustainable cost management and operational excellence.

What you can look forward to as Purchasing Analyst:

  • Analyze and manage cost reduction initiatives using ERP systems and relational databases to support strategic decision making
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cost reduction activities and cost management analysis
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute monthly cost reporting for business unit and executive stakeholders
  • Support material cost business planning for assigned business units
  • Collaborate with purchasing, controlling, engineering, quality, production, and sales teams on cost reduction projects
  • Coordinate cost reduction analysis and reporting with global and offshore partners
  • Develop and manage tools, templates, and databases to track cost reduction projects and implementations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support cross functional team efforts

Your Profile as Purchasing Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3-6+ years of experience in purchasing, cost analysis, supply chain management, or a related area
  • Hands on experience with cost reduction methodologies and analysis techniques
  • Working experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Axalant
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional and international teams
