Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Purchasing System Administrator to join our team supporting our Sequoia National Park locations in California. As a Purchasing Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the Birchstreet systems and databases for the property.

What will you do?
  • Birchstreet ownership of LIMs (new/old items and pricing), daily/weekly receiving, and monthly inventory
  • Train staff and managers on proper use of Birchstreet to ensure inventory and AP accuracy
  • Assist with the month and year-end duties
  • Coordinate with the property accounting team on the invoice
  • Assist with Recipes and monitor Food and Beverage cost fluctuations, and advise the Chef and Beverage team of major changes to ensure the Food and Beverage costs are planned
  • Assist with cyclic inventories in the Food and Beverage and Retail departments as required
More about you
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience with inventory management and using a purchasing system; Birchstreet experience is a plus
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience training others in a team setting
  • Strong leadership skills, working across multiple departments, and understanding the organizational structure
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Physical requirements
  • Must have the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in various temperatures due to weather and walk-in cooler temperatures
