Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension/conversion!)
JOB SUMMARY
Perform various clerical tasks and provide administrative and staff support to the organization, with particular focus on the Purchasing Department, to include Purchasing and any other department as required. Perform data entry on various administrative data base systems. Perform general clerical functions, to include data entry, photocopying, shredding and filing. Will call customers/vendors for PO follow-up. Will use the Internet and E-mail systems to retrieve
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Data Entry for Purchasing as required.
• Experience dealing with customers/vendors on the phone.
• Experience with filing numerically and/or alphabetically.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
