Job Title: Order Puller
Job Description

This role focuses on accurately pulling and preparing cable orders in a startup warehouse environment. You will use pick sheets to locate and cut stock cable, load it onto blank spools, and package finished orders for shipment while maintaining precise inventory records and supporting various warehouse functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily pick sheets and identify the correct stock cable required for each order.
  • Pull spools of stock cable from inventory and verify that the cable type and specifications match the pick sheet.
  • Measure, cut, and load the required length of cable onto blank spools with a high level of accuracy.
  • Package finished spools using shrink wrap and other materials as needed to prepare orders for shipment.
  • Clearly mark and record the remaining amount of cable on stock spools before returning them to inventory.
  • Assist with general order pulling, inventory tasks, shipping, and receiving activities as needed.
  • Use computers to access the warehouse system and print out orders and pick sheets.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area within the warehouse.
  • Support other warehouse functions and wear multiple hats in a startup environment as business needs change.
Essential Skills
  • At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Proven experience pulling orders using pick sheets or order sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and correct cable lengths.
  • Ability to use computers to access systems and print orders.
  • Experience with order pulling, inventory handling, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ability to work flexibly and assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed.

Pay and Benefits
