Responsibilities include:
  • Lumber Handler is responsible for safely handling, sorting, and stacking rough cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade
  • Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate cart
  • Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean
  • May perform other duties as required associated with handling of wood products

Requirements include:

  • Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
  • Must have and maintain excellent attendance record
  • Work at a fast pace and be detail oriented team player
  • Pre-employment drug-screen required
  • Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Always required to wear personal protective equipment
  • Cross train in other production related jobs
  • An all-around positive work attitude, at all times
