JOB OVERVIEW

Provide Administrative Support Services for the Department of the Treasury (USDT) | Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing general-purpose administrative and clerical support for various program offices within the Department of the Treasury | The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). The BEP is responsible for designing and producing security products for the US Government, including paper money for the Federal Reserve. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of The ProSidian Engagement Team, which is accountable for delivering administrative support services to the BEP. The project operates under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), with a five-year performance period. The team is responsible for maintaining quality control and complying with security requirements to protect government information and property.

Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting senior executives, managers, and supervisors with tasks related to management and general business operations. This will include performing administrative duties such as word processing, graphics, desktop publishing, editing, meeting coordination and facilitation, answering telephones, photocopying, coordination of communications materials, and other related tasks. You may also be involved in drafting presentations, editing/proofreading documents, conducting research, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provides general-purpose administrative and clerical support for project tasks.
  • Duties may include word-processing, graphics, desktop publishing, editing, meeting coordination and facilitation, answering telephones, photocopying, coordination of communications materials and additional tasks.
  • Duties also include regular tasks defined at point of need. These may include some presentation drafts and editing/proofreading of documents, presentations or other meeting materials and miscellaneous research tasks.
