About the Teamย 

We are Roku's Technical Account Management team for advertising publisher partnerships, owning integration health end-to-end-from onboarding through mature operations-to deliver operational excellence, reliability, and measurable outcomes for our partners and the Roku ad platform. Weย operateย at the intersection of technology and business, turning operational and analytical signals into clear business casesย and actionable decisions.

About The Roleย 

This roleย is requiringย a highly motivated problem solver, who can effectively articulate business cases based on operational and analytical data. As part of this highly skilled team, you willย be responsible forย managing the technical relationship with Roku's advertising business' publisher relationships. The Technical Account Manager's primary responsibility is toย maintainย operational excellence throughout the lifecycle of the publisherย partnership, from integration to mature state, while working closely with the Publisher Partnerships,ย Business Development,ย Inventory,ย andย Productย teams.ย

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.ย

What You'll Be Doingย 
  • Work on new integrations across all advertising publisher partners
  • Lead the project planning, operational work, and testing related toย the integrationย 
  • Monitor and define metrics to evaluateย healthย of our integrations with Publishers working within the Roku ecosystemย 
  • Usage of data and logs to drive decisions, insight, and optimizationsย 
  • Frame technical matters into business opportunities or challenges, adapting your message to the technical level of the audienceย 
  • Build and grow trusting relationships with external and internalย counterpartsย 
  • Troubleshoot issues and performance drops in publisher integrations by working cross functionally with other teams in the company, including more senior team membersย 
  • Identifyย areas for product improvement and collaborate with the Product team toย bring toย fruitionย 
  • Assistย with testing and success evaluation of new featuresย 
  • Collaborate with the Publisher Partnerships team to drive strong programmer/publisher relationships through recurring calls and virtual communicationย 
  • Meet locally with publisher contacts when required
We're excited if you haveย 
  • 4+ years of client-facing experience in Programmatic Advertising/Header Bidding Technologies in a Technical Account Management role or equivalentย 
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively, both verbally and in writing to different audiences such as product, developers, operations, and salesย 
  • 1+ year Video (preferably CTV) experienceย 
  • Comprehension and experience in trafficking digital video and other formats, including VAST, VPAID, and VMAPย 
  • Experience with Ad tech and ad tech terminologyย 
  • Effective relationship management skills with partnersย 
  • Experience with SQL & Analytics Skillsย 
  • Experience with supply integrations (header bidding,ย oRTB, etc.)ย 
  • Familiarity with reviewing technical documentation and integration specs, such as forย oRTBย 
  • Superset and Excelย proficiency. Python, JSON/XML are a strong plusย 
  • Experience in app/SDK coding, log reading, and testing in Postmanย 
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting front-end issues and network requestsย 
  • Experience with a video ad server (Freewheel, GAM, Publica,ย Springserve, etc.)ย 
  • Experience on an OTT platform a strong plusย
