Grace Federal Solutions is hiring a dependable Transit Bus Operator to provide safe, reliable transportation for students, employees, patients, and visitors within a structured transit program.
This is a critical role serving a healthcare and campus environment. Professionalism, punctuality, and sound judgment are non-negotiable.
If you are a CDL driver with a passenger and air brake endorsements who values structure, accountability, and steady work, this is an opportunity to join a mission-driven team.
What You'll Do
  • Safely operate transit buses in full compliance with DOT and traffic regulations
  • Follow assigned routes and dispatch instructions accurately
  • Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Complete required logs, manifests, and incident reports
  • Maintain clear two-way radio communication with dispatch
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting as needed
  • Respond professionally to service questions and concerns
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols
  • Attend required safety trainings
Schedule Details
  • Primary schedule: Day shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
  • Weekends: Saturday & Sunday
  • Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating public transit buses or heavy vehicles
  • Valid North Carolina Class B CDL with:
