Account Assistant, Fashion

PR Consulting is a brand strategy and public relations agency that specializes in developing and communicating authentic narratives to position companies and individuals across multi-platform channels.

Our company is currently seeking talented candidates for an Assistant within our Fashion team, leading strategic communications planning and programming for clients in the fashion, culture and retail categories.

This candidate will be part of PR Consulting's team in New York and report directly to the department's Managers. This role is in person Monday – Thursday in our New York City office with remote work on Fridays.

Job Description:

  • Serve as a key team member for a number of fashion brands, helping to facilitate overall excellence in output to the client
  • Work with staff from Partner through intern levels on both day to day as well as bigger picture needs, reporting to Director and Manager level staff
  • Manage sample trafficking – logistics and press requests
  • Maintain accurate records and organization for sample requests and seeding
  • Manage client digital assets – create and organize assets for press outreach and pitching
  • Monitor & circulate press coverage
  • Compile and execute reports to respective clients including weeklies, monthlies, seedings, special projects, and event recaps
  • Support in the development of influencer target lists for press initiatives
  • Maintain, organize and update existing media lists
  • Assist with event organization, logistics and on-site responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Previous internship experience required; this is an entry level position
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or Google Workspace: Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Drive
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior time management skills, ability to work quickly & efficiently, prioritize and multitask
  • Passionate and hardworking
