This position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to support clients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a balanced and productive work-life integration. Your work will primarily involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals at our Hospice Center. While the work is performed remotely, we emphasize regular communication and collaboration to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Protocall, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to gather crucial information about clients' mental health concerns and support systems.
• Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals and interventions based on each client's unique needs.
• Engaging in collaborative case management with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes aimed at fostering community support and resilience among clients.
• Providing crisis intervention, comprehensive risk assessment, and safety planning as needed, ensuring immediate support during critical times.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation compliant with ethical and legal standards, enabling coordinated care among the treatment team.

Your work will focus specifically on clients in hospice care, often facing profound emotional and psychological challenges. This population may experience anxiety, grief, and depression as they cope with terminal illnesses. Your role will be integral in providing a safe space for clients to process their feelings, facilitating resilience and emotional well-being during this sensitive period.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and clinical best practices in mental health.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.

We highly value candidates with:

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with hospice or palliative care clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Experience in leading therapeutic groups and psychoeducation workshops effectively.
