Assistant Principal - Aspire Public Schools, Stockton at Aspire Public Schools - San Joaquin County Share on X Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 7/24/2026 Contact Talent Manager 510-434-5000 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $109,924 - $155,320 Annually Add'l Salary Info Full benefits coverage on select plans, STRS/PERS Length of Work Year 2025-2026 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The Assistant Principal supports the Site Principal in managing all functions of a school site, including academic programming, school culture, operations, budgeting, personnel, facilities, and community relations, in alignment with Aspire Public Schools' standards and values. Essential Functions Provide instructional leadership by maintaining a school-wide focus on high academic achievement, supporting curriculum implementation, modeling Aspire instructional guidelines, and leading data-driven improvement processes for all students, including those with special needs in collaboration with Student Services and SPED. Design and facilitate high-quality professional development and coach new and veteran teachers, including Induction support.

Support human resources functions by recruiting, selecting, coaching, and evaluating staff; fostering a collaborative team culture; and ensuring compliance with Aspire policies and state and federal employment laws in partnership with Human Resources. Assist with fiscal and resource management by supporting budget development, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and planning for future resource needs. Support a positive school culture through strong family and community partnerships, trauma-informed practices, SEL, restorative justice, and collaboration with behavior and wellness teams.

Support daily operations, facilities, safety, and administrative systems. Serve as site leader in the Principal's absence, support extracurricular and partnership programs, collaborate on master scheduling, and lead special projects such as strategic planning, instructional improvement, accreditation, and charter renewal.
