Business Development Manager - Nashville
NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid work model, offering a base salary of $90,000-$120,000 plus commission, health benefits, and 401(k).
We are a team of talented consultants delivering accounting solutions to clients across the Nashville area. While a background in finance or accounting is preferred, it is not required. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, understand business needs, and connect clients with the right solutions.
This role offers a collaborative environment, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the Nashville market.
  • Own the full sales cycle-from prospecting to closing.
  • Cultivate relationships with key Centers of Influence (COIs) and executive business leaders (C-level and Director-level).
  • Develop strategic referral partnerships with CPA firms, banks, private equity firms, and other local business influencers.
  • Attend networking events and source leads through relationship-building.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored solutions that highlight NOW CFO's value.
  • Maintain an average of 20-25 meetings per week.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, onboard clients, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Use CRM and other tools to manage pipeline, contacts, and activity.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in sales roles such as Business Development Representative or Sales Account Executive.
