Job description

Serenity Storage is a family-owned business seeking a Property Manager for an opening in Buffalo Missouri. We are looking for someone who is energetic and proactive who is looking for a career. Applicant must have excellent people skills, a positive attitude, and the willingness to have the chance for great earnings through base pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

-Schedule would be from 8am-4pm in Buffalo on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. from 8am-2pm on Saturday. Scheduled off on Thursday and Sunday

-Traveling between Serenity Storage properties to do property checks and light duty maintenance.

-Provide outstanding customer service by overseeing all operations for a self-storage facility

-Keep properties occupied with tenants through lead follow up and unit showings for prospective tenants

- Complete rental agreements, assist prospective and current tenants, collect current and delinquent rents, enforce terms of rental agreement, and resolve customer complaints

-Schedule or perform light duty maintenance and repairs, do daily walk around inspections year around of all units, and keep all properties clean of trash and debris

-Keep an open dialogue with upper management about vacancies, tenants, condition of property, any other aspect of the storage business

Qualifications:

· Self-storage or property management preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (paid mileage)

· Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

· Dependable and self-motivated

· Willingness to work outside year-round to clean units and maintain properties and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds

· Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products

· Accurate filing and record keeping skills
