  • Write, develop, and brainstorm social media content for the School of Pharmacy.
  • Create, manage, and evaluate social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Design on-brand graphics and curate content highlighting School of Pharmacy departments,                  programs, students, faculty, staff, and events.
  • Monitor School of Pharmacy activities and identify opportunities for timely and engaging content.
  • Assist with community management, social media strategy, analytics, and reporting.
20%  Content Development & Storytelling10% - Research Communications
  • Assist with the development of blog posts, website content, newsletters, feature stories, and other          strategic communications materials.
  • Research topics, interview sources, and gather information for communications projects.
  • Pitch story ideas and contribute to communications team planning discussions.

You will also play an important creative role by developing ideas for fun, engaging social media campaigns that resonate with fellow students. This fast-paced position involves a mix of writing social media content and capture photographs and video on the fly.
You will collaborate closely with the Manager of Communications and gain hands-on, marketable experience in a dynamic marketing and communications office while playing a creative role in promoting the University of Kansas.
