The Role
You'll be at the heart of our operations, taking designs from the screen to reality. You will prepare substrates, operate printing equipment, and perform finishing tasks to ensure every sign meets our high standards. You'll work alongside our existing production team and coordinate with design and sales to get jobs done right.
Duties Include:
  • Operate and maintain printer(s) and cutters.
  • Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium. 
  • Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. 
  • Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
  • Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces. 
  • Perform quality assurance measures pre and post-production by accurately reading work orders and proofing for errors. 
  • Assist with field installations as needed.
  • Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
  • Flexibility to lean over tables and use hand motions for vinyl application.
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools for light assembly and sign structure construction.
