Job description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Anthem, AZ, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Prompt EMR is used for documentation. Every patient is supported by a tech most of the time. Typical visit times are 60 minutes for evaluations and 30 minutes for follow-up visits. Caseload averages 60-65 patients per week depending on schedule. New graduates will be considered; preference given to experienced clinicians.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Arizona physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience with Prompt electronic medical record preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload averaging up to 60-65 patients per week preferred.
  • Ability to work with and delegate to a therapy technician.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous outpatient orthopedic experience.
  • Experience with 30-minute follow-up and 60-minute evaluation visit structures.
  • Comfort supervising support staff and coordinating high-volume scheduling.

Assignment Details
  • Schedule options include 7:00 start with shifts such as 5x8 or 4x10, or flexible schedules as needed.
  • Typical weekly caseload: 60-65 patients, depending on chosen schedule.
  • Every patient typically has a tech present most of the time.
  • Documentation using Prompt EMR.
