FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Louisville, KY is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist for a full-time, outpatient role. This position is ideal for an experienced Physical Therapist who wants to continue treating patients while stepping into clinical leadership, mentorship, and clinic growth.

Position Overview

The Lead Physical Therapist serves as the senior clinician in the clinic, delivering high-quality outpatient physical therapy while supporting clinical excellence, staff development, and a positive team culture. This role blends direct patient care with mentorship and leadership responsibilities and offers long-term growth as the clinic expands.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and examinations
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care
  • Provide outpatient orthopedic, balance, and functional rehabilitation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Utilize modern rehabilitation technology, including VR platforms, when appropriate
  • Complete accurate documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
Leadership

  • Serve as the lead clinician and clinical resource for the clinic
  • Mentor and support Physical Therapists and clinical staff
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members
  • Uphold high clinical standards and ethical practice
  • Foster a collaborative, professional, and patient-centered clinic culture
Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT)
  • Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license
  • Minimum 3 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
  • CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in leadership, mentorship, and clinic growth
