The Mapping Specialist (MSI) is client-facing position, functioning independently or as part of a specialized team.

The Mapping Specialist is assigned to a portfolio of client accounts. The Mapping Specialist is responsible for the organizational mapping setup of the survey, which directly impacts how these hospitals and healthcare systems review and utilize the results of their Press Ganey Employee Experience survey feedback from their employees and physicians. This role analyzes and synthesizes the client's Human Resource data and builds the organization's hierarchy/reporting structure within the online Engagement survey platform. This role works closely with the client to formulate solutions, provide recommendations, and complete organizational mapping in accordance with the client's timeline and unique needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads clients through workforce survey organizational mapping and data collection processes
  • Advises client on how to maximize the value of their partnership with Press Ganey for engagement surveys including employee, physician, and nursing-specific projects
  • Audits, interprets, and advises clients on the organizational mapping design and structure
  • Adheres to deadlines to ensure overall client deliverables are executed as scheduled
  • Facilitates review and finalization of hierarchy with clients, captures ongoing edits, and obtains required approval from clients before completing or updating information
  • Collaborates with client and internal team to develop plans for mapping that ensure accuracy of the survey setup and reported survey results.
  • Provide support for service failures/recovery
  • Act as an effective member of a team and cross-team product group

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of health care, quality improvement or project management experience
  • Proven excellence in the support and service to complex customers and/or data sets is preferred
  • Use of demonstrated analytical skills to identify, research, and solve complex problems with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with demonstrated higher level Excel skills preferred including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to question, probe, and/or challenge clients in order to ensure the client's ultimate needs are met
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000to $55,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
