To thrive after being promoted, you need a solid track record of performance, relevant experience in your field, and often a higher level of education or specialized training. Familiarity with company-specific systems, management tools, or industry certifications may be required depending on the new role's responsibilities. Leveraging mentorship and professional development resources can help ease the transition and ensure long-term success.
