Hype Motion Physical Therapy, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our thriving Orthopedic Outpatient Unit in Cypress, Florida. Work Environment

The work setting at Hype Motion is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Cypress, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new and returning patients, integrating pertinent medical history and detailed assessments to customize treatment plans.

  • Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on the evaluation findings, patient presentations, and the latest advancements in physical therapy methodologies.

  • Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, documenting changes in conditions accurately and modifying treatment plans as necessary.

  • Effectively communicate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

  • Prepare timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions, including creating initial evaluation reports, daily therapy notes, and comprehensive discharge summaries.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities that enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

  • Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up strategies that ensure continuity of care for patients post-therapy.

  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and third-party payors to educate and inform them about the treatment process and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation services. Typical cases may include post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and preventative care. Your ability to address individual patient needs and develop customized therapy regimens will significantly contribute to their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is required.

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards in a clinical setting is a plus.

  • Experience in collaborating with insurance companies and understanding insurance protocols for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
