Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite within our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and assistants, to deliver comprehensive care. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while providing critical therapy services to our outpatient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which include reviewing medical history, performing assessments, and documenting findings to develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Implement effective treatment interventions based on evidence-based practices, tailoring approaches to fit each patient's unique presentation, preferences, and progress.

  • Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as necessary, recognizing changes in patient condition that require adjustments to care plans or additional medical consultation.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient interactions and treatment protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

  • Drive patient engagement and adherence to treatment through clear communication, education, and support, collaborating with patients and families to meet recovery goals.

  • Assist with discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients as they progress towards independence and community reintegration, and providing suitable follow-up recommendations.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and facility meetings to stay informed on advancements in physical therapy practices and emerging healthcare policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, addressing a variety of conditions related to post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments. Hype Motion Physical Therapy is dedicated to providing holistic care, integrating patient education and physical rehabilitation strategies that empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

  • Active physical therapy license in the state of Florida, or qualification to obtain such a license.

  • Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
