What You Need to work as a Marion County Mental Health Therapist

  • Masters degree or higher in a Mental Health related field REQUIRED(Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Psychology)
  • Licensed, Registered Intern, or Masters' level positions available--must be license-eligible (Not sure if you're license-eligible? Check out https://floridasmentalhealthprofessions.gov/ for more info)
  • At least one year experience working with children 0 - 8 years old REQUIRED (may be in related field)
  • Working knowledge of childhood development
