Position Title: Entry-Level Recruiter

Location: Louisville, KY

Department: Human Resources

FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt/Full-time

Reports To: Lead Recruiter


JOB SUMMARY:
The Entry-Level Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting our hiring team and assisting the HR team with various administrative duties. Utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), the entry-level recruiter will evaluate candidates for open positions, ensuring a streamlined recruitment process. Main duties include reviewing resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates and the hiring team, managing the ATS, creating and refreshing job postings, engaging in active and passive candidate searches, and more. The entry-level recruiter will have the opportunity to screen candidates for diverse roles across multiple fields such as technical, administrative, teaching, sales, hospitality, and more. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. The entry-level recruiter will also provide valuable assistance to the HR team by handling various administrative tasks as assigned. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review resumes and applications to determine candidate suitability for various roles

  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications

  • Schedule interviews between candidates and the hiring team

  • Assist in managing calendars for the hiring team

  • Use ATS to keep track of open roles and new candidates that come through

  • Promote positive candidate experience through the hiring process

  • Assist the HR team with various administrative duties

  • Contribute to a streamlined recruitment process by ensuring prompt and efficient coordination between candidates and the hiring team


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of customer service experience required


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem-solving aptitude

  • Critical-thinking skills

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
