Job description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Part-Time Licensed Insurance Producer to join our team in-office. In this role, you will interact directly with prospective and existing policyholders, evaluate their insurance needs, recommend coverage options, and drive agency sales growth.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business Development: Actively source, quote, and close sales for personal and/or commercial lines of insurance.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews with clients to identify gaps and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
  • Account Management: Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and general coverage inquiries.
  • In-Office Support: Maintain an active daily presence in the agency office, greeting walk-in clients and handling inbound phone inquiries.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales, policy applications, and documentation adhere to state regulatory guidelines and agency protocols.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills


  • Licensure: Valid State Property & Casualty (P&C) License required (Life & Health license is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of sales or customer service experience in an insurance agency setting preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with agency management systems, quote engines, and standard office software (MS Office/Google Workspace).
  • Work Style: Self-motivated, target-driven, and adept at working independently as well as within a team structure.
