Requirements

What do prospective applicants commonly ask us about the agency?

  • Are leads provided or do I have to purchase them myself? We provide all kinds of leads for you and nothing would need to be purchased by you for this role.
  • Is prior Insurance sales experience required? Not at all. You do not need to know anything about insurance or sales and with the training you will receive, you will learn all you need to know to suceed.
  • Speaking of training, what does that look like? Once licensed, you will go through our rigorous sales training program that is developed to help you close more business with less calls. Our team members help each other in their personal, professional, and financial goals so when you win, we all win.
  • You said "once licensed," so i need a license for this role? To be able to sell property and casualty insurance in Michigan, you need a Property & Casualty License. One is not required to start working here, however, you would need to obtain one in the first two weeks of employment. We provide the pre-licensing material (paid for) AND the upfront costs of licensing contingent on you obtaining that license. We care more about consistency and integrity versus prior sales experience.
  • You've mentioned culture a lot, what is the Agency's culture like? We have fostered a positive working environment with a "team assist" culture to help each other win more. It is a competitive sales environment that leads to high expectations and a winning attitude. Show up everyday, not only for yourself, but for your team.
  • Is this commission only and what can I expect to make in my first year? This is a salary plus commission position with a performance incentive metric. The more you sell the more you can make and an agent who sells consistently, they can expect to make over $100k annually.
