Scott Equipment Company is looking to add a Project Manager to join our team in New Prague, MN!

Primary Objective of the Position:

Achieve project goals and targets while keeping in mind the project scope, time, quality, and communication with customers. Facilitate the project workflow with team collaboration between our engineers, designers, and production teams on multiple projects at a time.

Requirements:

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Forwards customers a letter confirming order status, introduction of designer, creates and manages an overall timeline, and provides lead-time for approval drawings to be sent for approval. Confirms the receipt of the approval drawings.
  • Follow up with customers when approval drawings are not returned on schedule or in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with customers through a variety of methods such as telephone, email, live-chat, websites, or social media to inform customers of current job status and assists with any questions they may have. Escalates issues to supervisor/manager and ensures follow up with customer.
  • Compares product Bill-of-Material (BOM) with purchased parts schedule and inventory to ensure all parts and material are available at start of production and for Parts Lists at shipping.
  • Communicates with customers one week before production starts to confirm lead time and estimated delivery date. Ensure manuals are sent out with the machine at time of shipment.
  • Works with Engineering Manager and Production Manger to monitor job status from order to delivery.
  • Follows up with customer one week after machine arrives at customer site to ensure machine was delivered and customer is satisfied. Compiles notes of customer questions, comments, and issues regarding product delivery and communicate any concerns with to supervisor/manager.
  • Enters and provides data for job status reports to supervisor/manager.
  • Communicates customer feedback to technical and marketing teams to develop processes to improve the customer experience.
  • Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
