Position Title: Project Manager
Job Family: Project Management
Location: On site - Tampa, FL
We are hiring multiple Project Managers at Paligen Technologies to lead end‑to‑end project delivery for machinery, equipment, and chemical‑processing installations. This role requires strong technical understanding of chemical manufacturing systems, process equipment, and industrial safety standards. The Project Manager will coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, EH amp;S, and customer sites to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and startup of chemical production assets. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering complex chemical‑equipment projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning amp; Execution
  • Lead full project lifecycle from kickoff through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements by ensuring standard disciplined practices are followed.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Paligen, global engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Facilitate communication across engineering, production, procurement, and service teams.
  • Coordinate equipment shipments, installation activities, and on‑site support.
Customer amp; Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide regular project updates.
  • Manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct on‑site visits as needed for installation oversight and project reviews.
Documentation amp; Reporting
  • Prepare project status reports, risk assessments, and change‑order documentation.
  • Ensure accurate project records, technical documentation, and compliance files are maintained.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and post‑project evaluations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of project management experience, ideally in machinery, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical or industrial engineering concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder technical projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working with global engineering teams or international suppliers.
Other Requirements:
  • Travel: 25% to support other Paligen Technologies locations. International travel if required
