Position Overview

The Project Manager leads the Maintenance team by overseeing day-to-day operations, field execution, and client communication. This role bridges project management with team leadershipโ€”supervising technicians and coordinators while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The Project Manager also partners with leadership on planning, reporting, and business development, making this a critical role in driving operational success and client satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage multiple concurrent construction and maintenance projects from planning through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead regular team meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and realign resources as needed.
  • Ensure accurate job cost tracking, resource allocation, and timely invoicing using platforms such as Monday.com and Service Fusion.
  • Coordinate logistics and procurement of materials, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Schedule jobs efficiently by factoring in geography, time constraints, and employee availability to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Supervise and support field technicians and project coordinators, ensuring team members are properly trained, certified, and briefed on scope, safety, and client expectations.
  • Conduct performance check-ins, support professional development, and promote a culture of accountability and high standards.
  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders and clients, including new initiatives, scope changes, and service escalations.
  • Ensure documentation (JHAs, safety logs, project reports) is complete, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with higher-level planning, vendor negotiations, and reporting.
  • Support business development by preparing estimates and scopes for new work.
  • Identify operational gaps and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to scale the department and meet operational demands.
  • Participate in process improvements and standardization efforts to increase departmental efficiency and service consistency.
  • Track and report on department KPIs such as work order completion rates, customer satisfaction, rework rates, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term planning for the Maintenance Division.
Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background screening.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to job sites, administrative meetings, and company-wide conferences as required.
