Pay: 35-55/hr
Estimated Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support the development and implementation of Thermal Energy Networks (TENs) initiatives .
This role will be responsible for managing complex projects, coordinating stakeholders, supporting strategic planning efforts, and developing technical and public-facing materials.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in energy, sustainability, engineering , or related fields.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Energy, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Sustainability, Public Policy , or a related field.
If bachelor's degree not related to the above, then even the HM will consider
Experience:
  • 3-6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience developing project implementation strategies and managing project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects involving internal and external stakeholders .
  • Support planning, implementation, and tracking of Thermal Energy Networks (TENs) initiatives .
  • Develop project plans, business cases, implementation strategies , and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement with government agencies, utilities, consultants, industry partners, and community organizations.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of energy-related programs, policies, and market opportunities .

Proficiency with : Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams )| Asana| Salesforce (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in energy, sustainability, decarbonization, or clean energy programs.
  • Familiarity with Thermal Energy Networks (district heating/cooling systems).

Knowledge of:
  • Building decarbonization strategies
  • Community energy planning
  • Energy policy and regulations
  • Geothermal technologies
  • Waste heat recovery systems
  • Experience working with government agencies, utilities, or public-sector organizations.
