Position Overview

Weโ€™re looking for a Project Manager to join our Architecture team. In this role, youโ€™ll lead and manage multiple restoration and rehabilitation projects across New York City. Youโ€™ll work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution from investigation through close-out.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Lead medium to large-scale architectural projects with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate all project phases including investigation, budgeting, documentation, municipal filing, construction administration, project financials, and close-out.
  • Prepare and oversee technical documents including field reports, cost estimates, specifications, and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Conduct site inspections from ground level to suspended scaffolding (6โ€“60 stories).
  • Maintain client relationships and act as primary liaison for project communication and documentation.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and NYC building codes.
  • Troubleshoot project-specific issues and implement timely solutions.
  • Stay current on NYC building codes and public review processes.


What Youโ€™ll Bring

Required:

  • 6โ€“10 years of experience in architecture or related field.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Architecture or, comparable engineering degree (civil / structural) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical writing.
  • Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with faรงade restoration, historic preservation, and forensic investigation.


Preferred:

  • NYC scaffold certifications (4HR Supported and 16HR Suspended).
  • FISP experience.


Work Environment & Schedule

  • This position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
  • Travel requirements: Fieldwork expected 25%โ€“75% of the time.

  • Salary range: $115,000 โ€“ $130,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
