Are you passionate about creating innovative learning environments? Join our team as a Lead Project Designer and help shape the future of K-12 education facilities. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams and clients, lead design efforts and represent the firm in educational design.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead design from predesign through schematic design and design development.
  • Define project scope, programming, budgeting and master planning aligned with school district goals.
  • Solve complex design challenges while ensuring compliance with codes and state guidelines.
  • Mentor and manage Project Designers and Design Coordinators
  • Deliver creative, client focused solutions that make a lasting impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lumion, Enscape, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and city planning ordinances.
  • Ability to present ideas through digital/3D modeling and hand sketching.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Master's degree in architecture preferred; bachelor's degree meeting licensure criteria required.
  • Actively pursuing licensure (current licensure a plus).
  • 7-8 years of experience as a Project Designer or similar role.
  • Preferred experience in K-12 educational facility design.
  • A professional portfolio is required for consideration.
