DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects in alignment with business objectives. The Project Manager ensures that project teams, composed of IT and business resources, follow established methodologies and PMO standards while delivering agreed scope within schedule and budget.
This role partners with stakeholders across IT and the business to manage project execution, resolve issues, and support successful delivery across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid development environments. The Project Manager applies a collaborative leadership approach, supports informed decision-making, and escalates risks or issues through defined governance structures.
Role Responsibilities and Functional Skills
  • Lead project teams on IT projects, coordinating activities across IT, business, and vendor resources.
  • Manage both planning and execution phases of projects, including defining scope, developing schedules, and supporting effort estimates.
  • Track and manage project budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying variances and supporting corrective actions.
  • Apply a structured, data-driven approach to project tracking, reporting, and decision support.
  • Manage and track project scope, resources, and quality within approved timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare project status materials and present updates to project stakeholders and PMO leadership.
  • Provide collaborative, positive leadership while working effectively within a matrixed environment.
  • Coordinate and support the efforts of IT, business, and vendor personnel assigned to project activities.
  • Prepare and facilitate project meetings, including status reviews, planning sessions, testing coordination, and cutover readiness.
  • Support Change Management, Release Management, and testing activities as part of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the translation of business requirements into technical deliverables in partnership with technical teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by PMO or IT leadership.
  • Support adherence to PMO standards, tools, and best practices across assigned projects.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 4-6 Years of professional experience working within an IT project delivery or PMO environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid.
  • Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g., ERP or SAP) is beneficial.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile) is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within established governance and escalation models.

The Salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$149,500.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
