We are now seeking a passionate and organized Human Resources Program Coordinator to lead and support our growing early career talent initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, building relationships, and creating meaningful career pathways for the next generation of skilled professionals.

As the Human Resources Program Coordinator, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our early career and workforce development programs, including internships, apprenticeships, associate sales, H-2B, and other entry-level development initiatives. You'll work closely with business leaders, educational institutions, workforce organizations, and program participants to deliver an exceptional employee experience while building a strong talent pipeline for our organization.

This is a collaborative, hands-on position that combines office-based HR responsibilities with regular time in the field mentoring, coaching, and supporting participants throughout their development.

Job Overview

The Human Resources Program Coordinator role will combine program coordination along with human resources support. 

Early Career & Workforce Development Programs (Approximately 60%)

  • Coordinate and execute internship, apprenticeship, associate sales, H-2B, new graduate, and other early career programs.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, managers, schools, and program partners.

  • Spend regular time in the field mentoring, coaching, evaluating, and supporting participants as they progress through their programs.

  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, training sessions, networking events, and program graduation activities.

  • Monitor participant attendance, performance milestones, and overall program success.

  • Support recruiting efforts through career fairs, campus events, and candidate engagement activities.

  • Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and assessment centers while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify meaningful project assignments and development opportunities.

  • Maintain participant records, program documentation, and reporting dashboards.

  • Prepare reports and metrics related to hiring outcomes, retention, participant satisfaction, and program effectiveness.

  • Collect participant feedback and recommend continuous improvements.

  • Develop and maintain program materials, presentations, communications, and training resources.

  • Communicate program updates through email, newsletters, collaboration platforms, and internal communication channels.

  • Address participant concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.

Human Resources Support (Approximately 40%)

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including employment documentation and orientation scheduling.

  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Assist with HR audits, reporting requirements, and data validation.

  • Support daily HR operations and transactional activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate degree or trade certification preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting skilled trades, workforce development, apprenticeships, or early career programs.

  • Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using HRIS platforms, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
