Purpose

Provide team leadership, technical and non-technical support to all activities in respect to document control, document retention, and document reporting.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Leads/coordinates a document control team.
  • Develop and implement master document management system requirements.
  • Develop Document Control plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure project documentation/version control and accurate and timely distribution/transmission to project stakeholders.
  • Work with project team members to ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with project and company document creation, control, retention, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in third-party and internal quality audits involving area of responsibility and assist with related corrective/preventative action planning and implementation.
  • Finalize the closeout of project records.
  • Coordinate with and foster open lines of communication amongst all project team members.
  • Strive for continuous improvement across all areas of work.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in applicable field of study preferred.
  • Seven or more (7+) years of experience.
  • Expert in engineering and construction projects, nomenclature, and associated document numbering conventions.
  • Current Omega 365 Pims R4 document control software experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills โ€“ written and verbal.
  • High level of personal integrity, creativity, persistence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter, possess strong analytical skills, and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
