Job description

Project Manager – Industrial & Corrosion Control Projects
The Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering complex industrial and corrosion control projects with precision, safety, and efficiency. This position is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle — from planning and design through execution and closeout. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects involving blasting, coating, surface preparation, and corrosion mitigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Manage day‑to‑day project execution across industrial and corrosion control scopes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
  • Oversee blasting, coating, and corrosion control activities to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, progress reviews, and client updates.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure performance and quality.
  • Identify risks — including corrosion‑related failure points — and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support commissioning, QA/QC, and project closeout activities.
  • Represent the organization professionally in client interactions, site visits, and presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or corrosion control environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with blasting, coating, corrosion mitigation, or protective coatings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and coating/corrosion standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Experience with Procore or similar project management software preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
