Job description

MSA Professional Services is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager to lead and execute change strategies that drive successful adoption of key initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure changes are clearly understood, effectively implemented, and sustainably embedded into the business.

This role is based out of our St Paul office and can be hybrid or fully onsite.

Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and internal clients on change strategy, readiness, and adoption
  • Build strong relationships across teams, departments, and leadership levels
  • Partner with project sponsors to ensure active, visible sponsorship
  • Coach leaders to effectively guide their teams through change
  • Translate complex change impacts into clear, audience-specific messaging

Project & Change Execution

  • Lead change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and organizational readiness evaluations
  • Develop and execute right-sized change management strategies and plans
  • Partner with leadership on communication strategies and deliver aligned communication, training, and engagement plans
  • Integrate change management activities into overall project plans and timelines
  • Define and track adoption metrics, success measures, and resistance indicators
  • Identify risks to adoption and develop mitigation strategies
  • Support sustainment planning and benefits realization post-implementation

Technical & Methodology Leadership

  • Apply Prosci ADKAR methodology across all phases of change
  • Develop key deliverables including change strategies, stakeholder analyses, communication plans, and enablement materials
  • Design and facilitate workshops, focus groups, and leadership sessions
  • Build tools and frameworks to analyze change data and measure outcomes
  • Ensure consistency and quality across change management practices
  • Contribute to the evolution of OCM methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions to build internal change capability

Business Impact

  • Drive measurable adoption and usage of new processes, systems, and behaviors
  • Align change initiatives with organizational strategy and priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational change maturity
  • Manage work within scope, schedule, and budget expectations
  • Collaborate with Shared Services and Operations to align change and project management efforts

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field required

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in organizational change management, organizational development, consulting, or related field
  • Proven experience leading change initiatives for complex projects (e.g., technology implementations, process transformations, M&A integration)
  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of structured change management methodologies (Prosci experienced)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and insights
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate ambiguity and resistance
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational performance impacts

Certifications

  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner preferred
  • PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, or similar certifications preferred
