Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.


Position Overview

Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite)


Schedule: Monday - Friday


Pay: $120,000 - $135,000 per year


The Manufacturing Logistics Manager plays a critical leadership role in directing the overall logistics function across receiving, stockroom management, inventory control, material movement, and shipping operations. This position is responsible for developing and executing logistics strategies that support manufacturing objectives, customer commitments, and business growth. The Manager leads team leads and logistics personnel while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, workforce development, and cross-functional alignment. This role ensures logistics operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all manufacturing logistics operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and production requirements.

  • Lead and develop team leads and logistics personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

  • Establish and execute logistics strategies that optimize material flow, inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and customer delivery performance.

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning and Engineering teams to drive operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.

  • Own key performance indicators (KPIs) related to throughput, inventory accuracy, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis, root cause problem-solving methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Develop workforce planning strategies, including staffing, succession planning, training, and leadership development programs.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality management systems (QMS), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies.

  • Lead investigations of operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and process deviations while implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor and improve logistics network performance, inventory management practices, and warehouse utilization to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Champion a customer-focused culture that consistently delivers on service, quality, and operational commitments.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations experience, or 10+ years of progressive industry experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing supervisors, team leads, or multi-level operational teams.

  • Proven experience leading manufacturing logistics functions, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, stockroom operations, and material movement, with a track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost performance.

  • Strong expertise in problem-solving methodologies, continuous improvement, lean principles, and operational excellence.

  • Experience developing and executing strategic plans, managing resources, and driving organizational change.

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budget management and performance analysis.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, develop leaders, and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or highly regulated environment.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or other supply chain/logistics certifications.

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and inventory management systems.

  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and large-scale process improvement projects.
