Who We Are

Metrolinx's GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.

What You'll Do

As a Project Coordinator, you will support the commercial and project controls management of engineering design sub-consultants. Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will help drive financial performance, maintain project controls, and ensure alignment between technical delivery and commercial outcomes.

This role supports budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, invoicing, and commercial documentation, while contributing to reporting, change management, and consultant coordination. You will

operate within an integrated Alliance environment, interfacing daily with internal teams, consultants, and Metrolinx

Support Project Managers in commercial and project controls oversight of engineering consultant scopes.

Validate sub-consultant invoices against deliverables and level of effort in coordination with design teams.

Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking, identifying variances.

Coordinate monthly invoicing and payment processes, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.

Maintain cost breakdown structures (CBS), commitments, and accruals to support accurate reporting.

Support preparation of monthly cost, schedule, and commercial reporting.

Track change orders and scope adjustments, including cost and schedule impacts.

Draft and coordinate commercial correspondence, including letters and formal notices.

Liaise with project controls and finance teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Monitor consultant performance against contractual and commercial requirements.

Maintain organized records to support auditability and reporting.

Track risks and issues, supporting escalation and resolution.

Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls and reporting processes

Expected compensation for this role is between $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
