Job description

About the role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the Engineering Projects and Technology (EP&T) Group for project planning, scheduling, and of course coordinating projects.
You will report to the Capital Manager and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter purchase requisitions for the EP&T Group in SAP. This is to support issuance of RFQ's, PO's, and CN's.
  • Track status of PO's. Following up with vendors on status and getting hands-on parts once delivered.
  • Update milestone and detailed project schedules. Facilitate creating new schedules for future and potential projects.
  • Help with communications between the departments affecting the project. Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality.
  • Support Project Managers and Project Engineers with sending and receiving submittals for projects.
  • Help to determine initial Preventative Maintenance list for new equipment.
  • Follow up with vendors for invoicing.
  • Support Project Managers and Project Engineers to close Change Control Process (CCP) documentation.
  • Coordinate vendors for unescorted access requests.
  • Request that you add new vendors to the Approved Supplier List (ASL) to initiate them.
  • Work with Project Managers to capitalize equipment after successful implementation.
  • Escort vendors on plant site during shutdown.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree or higher would be nice to have.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP.
  • Familiarity of working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
