We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our residential construction projects in the Boston area. The APM will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction management with hands-on experience in high-end residential building and renovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects.
  • Support development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, punch lists, financial reports and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Order materials, track procurement, deliveries, and material lead times.
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and potential issues.
  • Support field staff and ensure alignment between office and on-site operations.
  • Monitor safety compliance and company quality standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates to the Project Manager and leadership team.
  • Assist with client communication and ensure a professional experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with permit applications.
  • Open/lock job sites as necessary, monitor construction progress.
