We are looking for a dependable Project Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment in Canton, Massachusetts. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can work efficiently in a detail-focused environment while handling time-sensitive administrative tasks. The position involves processing mailed voting materials with care, accuracy, and discretion during a one-day, four-hour coverage period.
Responsibilities:
• Open incoming envelopes and organize contents for processing in a timely manner.
• Separate inner ballot envelopes from outer mailing envelopes with close attention to detail.
• Remove ballots from sealed inner envelopes while maintaining accuracy throughout the process.
• Handle sensitive paper documents carefully and follow established procedures during each step.
• Maintain an orderly workspace to support smooth completion of the assignment.
• Assist with basic document handling tasks that require focus, consistency, and efficiency.• Previous experience with administrative support, document handling, or similar project-based work.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately.
• Ability to work independently during a short, deadline-driven assignment.
• Comfort handling paper files and processing materials in an organized manner.
• Basic scanning skills are preferred.
