Position Objective
The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting Operations and Project Management teams with administrative-related tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Success in this position depends on the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain focused on delivering exceptional internal and external customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for setting up jobs in the B2W system, including emergency job setups (may occur on weekends)
  • Provide administrative support to Associate Project Managers, Project Managers, and Regional Managers
  • Generate reports using systems such as COINS, B2W, and Power BI, and distribute to appropriate stakeholders
  • Assist with administration and support of SharePoint Online sites
  • Create, review, and distribute email correspondence, documents, and reports
  • Support implementation of new company initiatives and process rollouts
  • Assist with documentation, scheduling, and general administrative coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work weekends on short notice to support emergency business needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • Experience in customer service (in-person and/or telecommunications)
  • Experience within the construction, infrastructure, or energy industry
  • Prior experience within the Michels Family of Companies
