Job description

Position Summary:
We are an environmental laboratory seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Assistant to support our project management and client services team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in environmental laboratory operations—particularly in sample receiving or login—who is looking to expand their responsibilities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and project support, including clerical tasks, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare and generate client quotes based on project specifications and laboratory capabilities.
  • Support onboarding of new clients by explaining laboratory procedures, sample submission requirements, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and schedule sample pickups, courier services, and sample bottle kit deliveries.
  • Enter and track sample logistics and project details in internal systems.
  • Create and manage Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in an environmental laboratory setting, preferably in sample receiving or sample login.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with LIMS is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
