JOB SUMMARY

The Business Solutions Architect is a key strategic role within Progress Residential, responsible for connecting business goals with technology solutions that enable scale, efficiency, and exceptional resident experiences. This position focuses on designing and implementing that improve operational performance, strengthen data integrity, and support Progress Residential's mission to make renting single-family homes easy and rewarding.

The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of business processes across property management, maintenance operations, financial systems, and customer engagement. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to ensure that Progress Residential's systems and data platforms align with enterprise strategy and growth objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Partner with business and technology teams across Progress Residential to assess business objectives and translate them into scalable, integrated technology solutions.

  • Design and maintain enterprise-level architecture that supports the company's ecosystem of applications, including property management, maintenance, CRM, ERP, and data analytics systems.

  • Ensure processes and workflows align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

  • Evaluate and recommend technology capability requirements that enhance operational efficiency and data consistency across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain data flow maps, and solution blueprints, ensuring alignment with Progress Residential's IT governance and security standards.

  • Lead design sessions and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural solutions.

  • Support data strategy initiatives by designing solutions that enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and operational reporting.

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities through automation, workflow optimization, and cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure).

  • Drive change management to maximize user adoption

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, balancing strategic vision with practical technology execution.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in process improvement, change management or related leadership roles.

  • Proven experience aligning business process with enterprise systems such as Yardi, Salesforce, Workday, or financial ERP platforms.

  • Strong understanding of property management, real estate operations, and financial processes.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
