The position

The Assistant Retail Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Leader in the day to day operations of their Rocky location and leading the customer and employee experience within. In the absence of the Store Leader, their accountability is the complete and seamless operations of the store location and ensuring that the customer and employee experience is engaging and authentic. This role includes partnering with the Store Leader in identifying and executing initiatives to grow revenue, customer engagement and employee performance so their location performs to maximum potential. The store, the team and the experiences within reflects the culture and values of Rocky, always.
This is a permanent full-time position working up to 40 hours per week.
What you'll be doing

  • Consistently set the example by demonstration personal customer service and selling skills aligned with Rocky's service standards and expectations
  • Support the Store Leader in utilizing the RMSC training tools to train, develop and actively coach and support the team to delight the customer as they experience our products
  • Address customer concerns and complaints readily and with intent to exceed what’s expected  
  • In the absence of the Store Leader, lead and motivate the store team and consistently set the example of demonstrating and living by the RMSC core values
  • Actively work to improve the performance of oneself by pursuing opportunities for continuous learning and feedback
  • Supported by the Store Leader, you coach, guide and genuinely connect with your team, providing consistent and thoughtful feedback to ensure your team knows where they stand and how they contribute to the team
  • Support the Store Leader in ensuring all inventory management processes are completed
  • Report quality issues timely and ensure all products on the sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation
  • Lead the store in all sustainability efforts and initiatives
  • Actively lead and coach all team members to drive revenue and performance metrics
