The Role

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Channel Marketing Programs Manager to drive the growth, activation, and long-term success of its global partner ecosystem. This role will be responsible for executing partner events and demand generation activities that drive measurable pipeline.

The role will lead the strategy and execution of partner-facing programs that strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and create meaningful interactions between Proofpoint and its partners, including resellers, managed service providers (MSPs), distributors, and strategic alliances.

Your Day-to-Day

Global Channel Events

  • Define and execute a comprehensive partner events strategy

  • Own end-to-end partner events including partner council, partner advisory board and partner summit

  • Create a cohesive partner experience aligned with channel and business priorities

Partner Engagement & Programs

  • Design and deliver programs that drive active participation across the partner ecosystem

  • Lead the planning and execution of partner events, including summits, webinars, roundtables, and networking experiences

Partner Enablement Collaboration

  • Create an always-on Demand Center for partners including emails, content, and webinars

  • Drive awareness and participation in enablement activities across the channel

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with channel sales, partner marketing, product marketing, alliances, and customer success teams

  • Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment on partner engagement & demand strategies

  • Advocate for partner feedback in internal planning and decision-making

  • Present the channel marketing events plan weekly to executive leadership

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Define and track KPIs related to partner events and demand program effectiveness

  • Analyze data to assess impact and optimize strategies

What you bring to the team

  • Experience: Preferred 5+ years of experience in channel events, partner demand gen programs, or partner marketing within SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments

  • Scope & Ownership: Demonstrated ownership of global or multi-regional events with measurable business impact, including planning and execution

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Experience leading initiatives that require alignment across sales, marketing, product, and partner-facing teams without direct authority

  • Partner Ecosystem Expertise: Strong understanding of indirect go-to-market models, including resellers, distributors, MSPs, and alliances

  • Program Management: Track record of designing and executing complex programs with clear success metrics and reporting

  • Executive Communication: Ability to present strategies, insights, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 136,200.00 - 214,005.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 112,700.00 - 177,100.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 101,600.00 - 159,720.00 USD
