Job Description

Under immediate supervision, the intern performs work in a technical support position involving aiding Project Managers in completing projects. The intern will provide necessary drawings and documents to keep files updated and provide detail information as needed. The intern is expected to use knowledge of procedures, methods, and standards, in work projects while under close supervision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Requires two-year college/vocational technical degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or an approved related degree, or approved certificate; OR an approved equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in use of Auto CAD programs, Blue Print reading and accurate measurements in plan as well as field measurements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other staff and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to use logical reasoning, and follow instructions
  • Ability to document procedures used in computer programs
  • Ability to organize and plan work effectively
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical materials
  • Provides own transportation to travel between buildings as needed for projects/ project supervision.
