Job description

JOB TITLE: Program Associate
REQUIREMENTS:
Retail clothing store experience a plus.
Must be detail-oriented with outstanding organiza9onal skills and enthusiasm for neatness.
Strong work ethic, energe9c, and reliable.
Comfortable direc9ng and working with volunteers.
Must be able to pass a variety of background checks, including but not limited to a criminal
background check and child abuse registry check.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet throughout the day.
Ability to drive Bloom Box Truck for pick-ups and deliveries.
Must be extremely passionate about helping children, specifically children in foster care in the state of Georgia.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Program Associate will provide generalized support in all areas of the Bloom Closet Program. This individual will work with both staff and volunteers in our donation center, store, and warehouse to ensure the proper processing, organizing, and distribution of donations. In collaboration with the leadership team, Program Associates participate in training, supporting, and engaging volunteers, serving as a hands-on leader who ensures volunteers are equipped, connected, and empowered to contribute meaningfully.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with volunteers and donors in a friendly manner, communica9ng and represen9ng Bloom's mission and culture.
Answer dona9on collec9on door and educate donors on Bloom programs as needed
Assist in hanging and restocking new and donated items in the Closet.
Assist in loading of Bloom vehicles with stock merchandise.
Work in the Bloom warehouse to process inventory as needed.
U9lize the POS inventory system to support opera9ons.
Assist members of the Bloom Closet leadership team as needed.
