Job description

OverviewJoin our team as a Program Manager supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate. In this role, you'll lead high-impact security operations that protect critical personnel, facilities, and missions across the MDA enterprise. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic, multi-site program and play a key role in national security initiatives. On-site role based at Schriever Space Force Base (Colorado Springs, CO) with travel as needed.Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee security operations across multiple regional sites
  • Ensure seamless coordination between control centers, visitor access, and response teams
  • Supervise and support staff to maintain high performance and contract compliance
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and operational planning to meet program goals
  • Partner with MDA leadership, customers, and internal teams to deliver top-tier service
  • Conduct site assessments and support security planning for events and operations
  • Ensure training, readiness, and adherence to current security procedures
  • Respond to incidents and support emergency operations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in security, law enforcement, management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in security, military, or law enforcement environments
  • 10+ years of experience in security or law enforcement operations, including supervisory roles
  • Active Secret Clearance required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
  • Proven experience managing programs or sites of similar size and complexity
  • Strong background in operations, budgeting, and decision-making at a leadership level
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (passport required)
  • PMP certification preferred
